Detectives from Homicide Unit of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department they accused a man of origin latino of murder.
Is about Azbel Cruz Castro placeholder image, 24, who is accused of taking the life of Emmanuel Hagos Gebru.
The fact was raised the past June 27th in the 5300 block of East Independence Boulevard on the Independence Division.
Around 2:20 a.m., a shooting occurred. When the officers they arrived at the place, they found Emmanuel hagos with a gunshot wound.
Thus, the victim was transported to hospital for MEDIC, where he died hours later.
The detectives from Homicide Unit came to the scene to conduct an investigation.
What’s more, Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and gather physical evidence.
The investigation identified Castro as a suspect in the murder and Police department from town issued a warrant for his arrest.
The defendant was immediately detained and interviewed by detectives from the Homicide Unit.
Later, he was transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, where he has been accused of murder.
The investigation of this case is active and in progress.
