Patricia Ramírez has received this appointment by the Taxi and Limousine Commission during a ceremony held this Tuesday, which highlights 500 drivers for its Security Honor Roll.
Ramírez is dedicated to picking up passengers for Uber and Lyft and has an impeccable record: 2,393 recorded trips last year, with no accidents, crashes or violations.
“A safe driver is made by respecting traffic signs, obeying obstacles that appear on the road, an accident, ambulances… Paying attention to all that, not talking on the phone when you’re driving.”
Ramírez came to the United States from the Dominican Republic six years ago to be with her daughter.
Today she is a citizen of this country.
He has been driving in the city for almost as long as he lives in New York.
