Seville (EFE).- The Latin Grammy Awards will begin their 24th edition in Andalusia on October 13 with an event dedicated to urban music in Malaga. This will be followed by the launch on November 10 of a flamenco recognition event recorded at the Alhambra in Granada.
This was announced this Wednesday by the CEO of the Latin Grammy Academy, Manuel Abud, who presented new details of the programming at the Alcázar of Seville after meeting with the president of the Junta of AndalusiaJuanma Moreno, who has been convinced that the events will be “a success.”
The meeting was also attended by the mayors of Seville – where the awards ceremony will be held on November 16 – José Luis Sanz; Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, and Granada, Marifran Carazo.
The Latin Recording Academy will announce the nominees for the 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards next Tuesday, September 19, through a production from different places around the world, including Argentina, Brazil, Spain, the United States and Puerto Rico.
For the first time in its history, the Latin Grammys are not awarded in the United States. Something that will happen on Thursday, November 16 at the FIBES Exhibition and Congress Palace in Seville. And it will be framed within a week of musical events.
The 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will air live on Univision and Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) in Spain, and more international broadcast partners are expected to be announced soon. EFE
