Latin America in 2021 – The World Order

Latin America reaches 2021 between uncertainty and polarization. After the hiatus of the first months of 2020 due to the pandemic, the region has continued its drift towards more political tension. The ideological clash is not new, but it is aggravated by the threat of an economic crisis and the bankruptcy of traditional political models. The new political configuration will also be accompanied by the repositioning of US foreign policy under the presidency of Joe Biden.

The coronavirus pandemic increased uncertainty in a 2020 that was already expected to be convulsed in Latin America.
