Latgale Embassy ‘Gors’ will host a series of four concerts ‘Atmospheres’

On April 30, at 6 pm, within the framework of the International Jazz Day, the cycle of concerts and master classes “Atmospheres” will be opened at the Latgale Embassy “Gors”, the artistic director and inspirer of which is composer, pianist and jazz musician Edgars Cīrulis.

According to the organizers of “Delfi”, in four concerts the listeners will meet with specially selected artists, whose work invites them to forget about the boundaries of time and space.

A wide range of music will be presented in the concert series, keeping in mind the common concept – how not to rush time, how to feel good here and now, how to “slow down”. Mexican vocalist, composer, poet Fuensanta Mendes, American vocalist, composer and guitarist Sam Amidon, German pianist and composer Pablo Helds, as well as Līva Dumpe – Latvian vocalist with their own to the combination of music and performing arts.

Each of the artists will give a master class to the students of Jānis Ivanovs Rezekne Music High School, other musicians and those interested, which is also planned to be broadcast live on the Facebook page of the Latgale Embassy “Gors”. The master class of the artist of the first concert Pablo Held will take place on April 30 at 1 pm at the Latgale Embassy “Gors”.
