Latgale Embassy “Gors” will celebrate its ninth birthday / Article

The first part of the concert program will be performed in the lobby of the Latgale Embassy “Gors”, where Jānis Ivanovs’ vocals will be played with piano miniatures by Imants Zemzars, and the voices of the Latvian Radio Choir will be played by pianist Reinis Zariņš. In the second part of the concert, songs from the planned but unrealized Mārtiņš Brauns anniversary concert “Mārtiņrozes un november” will be played in the big hall of “Gora”.

Approaching the ninth anniversary concert, Reinis Zariņš, a longtime friend and pianist of the concert hall, said: . The special spirit of the concert hall and its soul is created by the people of this house, a team that always makes you feel at home, showing much more hospitality than you might expect. As a musician who visits here relatively rarely, I call happy those who spend their daily lives in the concert hall! ”

The Latgale Embassy “Gors” was opened nine years ago, on May 29 and 30, 2013, holding the opening concerts of the concert hall and becoming the first high-level acoustic concert hall in Latvia, built after the restoration of the country’s independence.
