Latest vacancies: looking for external communications coordinator and public relations specialist
The municipality of Jelgava is hiring a public relations specialist, while the Latvian University of Biosciences and Technologies (LBTU) is looking for an external communications coordinator to work with full-time foreign students and an internal auditor.
The municipality of Jelgava has announced a competition for the position of chief public relations specialist of the Department of Public Relations. The salary in this position is 1,361 euros before tax, but the intended place of work is at Lielaja Street 11. The main requirements for applicants are a higher education in the field of communications or social sciences, good communication skills, a high sense of responsibility and accuracy in the performance of duties, as well as knowledge of the national language at the highest level . At least two years of previous communication work experience in a municipality or one of its capital companies, as well as knowledge of foreign languages, will be considered an advantage.
In order to apply for a vacancy, interested parties are invited to submit a motivated application that reflects the applicant’s knowledge, skills, competences in accordance with the requirements and duties to be performed, a CV, as well as copies of documents certifying education. LBTU, on the other hand, offers the team to join the work of external communications coordinators at the LBTU International Cooperation Center. The main duties of the position provide for a wide range of communication with foreign students. In this vacancy, the employer offers a salary of 1021 euros before tax. LBTU has also announced a vacancy for an internal auditor. The salary for this position is 1360 before tax. In the case of both vacancies, the actual workplace is planned at Lielaja Street 2.
Documents to be submitted by applicants for vacancies are a CV (in Europass form), without specifying sensitive personal data, a motivated application on the applicant’s suitability for the vacant position, as well as copies of documents certifying education and other documents that describe the qualification for the vacant position.
