According to the head of the president’s office, Andrei Yermak, Canada has imposed sanctions against 20 people and 21 organizations associated with the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, as well as against 19 people and 4 organizations in Russia’s cultural and educational sectors.
Among them are those involved in Wagner’s PMC, which operated in both Ukraine and Africa, including Ivan Maslov, the head of the Wagner branch that facilitated the massacre of civilians in Mali in March 2022.
