Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The clashes between Israeli forces and the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” entered their fifth day, on Wednesday morning, and below we review the most prominent developments:

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the number of deaths in the Strip had risen to 1,055 people and the wounded to 5,184.

The Lebanese party said that its guided missile attack resulted in “many” Israeli deaths, while the Israeli army did not immediately comment on these allegations.
– The Israeli army spokesman for the Arab media, Avichay Adraee, published a clip of an Israeli strike in Gaza, saying with a comment: “The IDF destroys the Islamic University in Gaza City, which serves as a major rehabilitation and training center for Hamas engineers… the Islamic university that was supposed to work to consolidate science.” Under the rule of Hamas, Gaza has become an important center of political and military power in the terrorist organization and is working to rehabilitate, train, develop and produce combat means.”

– The Israeli army announced the launch of strikes inside Lebanese territory after launching anti-tank missiles at an Israeli army military site near the Lebanese border.
The Lebanese Hezbollah said that it fired “guided missiles” at an Israeli site in response to the killing of three of its members on Monday, saying in an urgent tape reported by the party’s Al-Manar channel: “In a firm response to the Zionist attacks, the Al-Jardah site was targeted with guided missiles.”

– The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said early Wednesday that more than 263,000 people have been displaced inside Gaza, and the number is expected to rise further.

At least 1,200 people have been killed as a result of Hamas attacks on Israel, according to army spokesman Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus in an update Wednesday morning.

The death toll in Gaza has risen to 950 since Israeli air strikes began in response to a surprise Hamas attack early Saturday morning, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, which added that another 5,000 were injured.

– The Israeli army said that it struck Hamas naval targets in Gaza in the past few hours, claiming that Hamas is using them to carry out attacks on the Israeli coast.

The Palestinian Ministry of Interior said, in a statement on Wednesday, that residential areas east of Jabalia and in Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip were subjected to intense aerial bombardment, and the Israeli forces have not yet commented on these allegations.
– Israel bombs Gaza with air strikes, hitting hundreds of targets and turning neighborhoods into rubble, after Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said that he had “lifted all restrictions” on the forces in their war against Hamas.
