(London, July 20).- The transfer of Moisés Caicedo is still in motion and his future has not been defined, after Brighton & Hove Albion rejected two formal offers from Chelsea to take over the Ecuadorian’s services.
According to the mail sports media, the London team is working to present an improved offer to Brighton, and they will propose closing the transfer for $100 million plus variables, a figure that is close to that requested by the ‘seagulls’ to sell ‘Niño Moi’.
Brighton are expecting $130 million to be offered for the sale, equaling Declan Rice’s record sale from West Ham to Arsenal. For his part, the Ecuadorian would already have agreed on his contract with Chelsea, and would be encouraging the leaders of the ‘seagulls’ to accept the offer.
Currently, Caicedo is in the United States doing the preseason with the first team to play the Premier League Summer Series, and his first game will be against Chelsea on July 22.
