Wiesbaden. A Burger King was attacked in the Hessian state capital late Tuesday evening. A police spokeswoman said two masked men entered the fast food restaurant around 11:25 p.m., threatened the employees with a gun and asked them to open the cash register. They fled in an unknown direction with a three-digit sum in cash. No one was injured in the robbery, at least physically. “The threat remained,” the spokeswoman said. “But what that does to the psyche is something else.”
The Wiesbaden criminal police are now taking over the investigation. The perpetrators are still on the run. According to the police, both were dressed in dark clothes and were between 20 and 30 years old. One man wore a balaclava, the other a scarf and sunglasses. Police are asking witnesses to call 0611 3450 if they have any information.
