Romelu-Lukaku
Romelu Lukaku
Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea want to go their separate ways, but so far there has been no agreement with a club. Now there could be an obvious way out: Tottenham are looking for a striker after the loss of Harry Kane and according to the Gazetta dello Sport there has even been contact between the clubs. The price tag for the 30-year-old is said to be around 30 million euros.
Lukaku originally wanted to leave the Premier League, but so far nothing has reached him apart from offers from Saudi Arabia. The Belgian prefers a transfer in Europe. Accordingly, Tottenham could be his last chance. However, it is still unclear how serious the Spurs are with Lukaku.

Saudi Arabian
Harry Kane has just signed a long-term contract with FC Bayern after weeks of transfer poker, and he’s already arousing interest from the Saudi Pro League. Michael Emenalo, the league’s sporting director, cited the England international striker as well as PSG striker Kylian Mbappé as possible future figureheads he would like to see at one of his clubs.
In conversation with The National News Emenalo explained: “I would love to have Kylian Mbappé here. And I would also love to have Harry Kane here. This league wants all the top players. That’s the focus of our strategy. In a few years, in a short time, this will be one be a league where only the exceptional players play.” We have the “resources to ensure we build an infrastructure to keep players at their peak with us.”
Emenalo knows about big transfers and big stars. From 2011 to 2017, the ex-professional worked as technical director at Chelsea FC. This summer he was hired by the Saudi Pro League and is now centrally coordinating the clubs’ transfer policy.
Especially the four big clubs, which are now subordinate to the Saudi sovereign wealth fund PIFAl-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli, have caused a stir in recent months with well-known transfers, high transfer fees and horrendous salaries for the new stars.
