Latest Suzuki Motorbike Imports from India to Indonesia – Gixxer SF 250, Avenis 125, and Burgman Street 125 EX

Jakarta

PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) has for the umpteenth time brought motorbikes made in India to Indonesia. In fact, over the last two years, three models have been imported intact from Tanah Barata.

At the end of 2021, Suzuki launched the Gixxer SF 250 in Indonesia. This sport-touring type vehicle was presented from India with complete imported status or completely built up (CBU). The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 has a unique appearance that doesn’t look like Japanese motorbikes in general.

Not long after the Gixxer SF 250, the two-wheeled manufacturer which is synonymous with light blue then launched the Suzuki Avenis 125 which again sparked riots among the public. It’s just crazy, the vehicle has an unusual design and the price tag can be said to be quite high.

It doesn’t stop there, Suzuki is again presenting an Indian motorbike with the Burgman Street 125 EX at the Indonesia Motorcycles or IMOS 2023 exhibition. This iron horse is the manufacturer’s newest champion which was imported intact from Hindustan.

Interestingly, the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX is not the last product to be imported from India. PT SIS will still present other motorbikes made in this country in the future.

M. Razwankaizar as Section Head Domestic Sales & Digital Marketing 2W PT SIS said, India is one of Suzuki’s production centers in the world. That is why, his party has the option to bring in a new motorbike from there.

“Because we are one of the global production companies from India. So we will introduce this motorbike first which will definitely be accepted by consumers (in Indonesia),” said Razwan when met by detikOto.

Not only motorbikes, many Suzuki cars sold in Indonesia recently also come from India. For example, the Suzuki Baleno and S-Presso.
