Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Denny JA’s Indonesian Survey Circle (LSI) released the latest survey regarding the electability of participants in the 2024 presidential election. The results show that the electability of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair has reached 50%.
The results of this survey were presented by LSI researcher Dennya JA, Adjie Al Faraby, Tuesday (30/1/2024). The latest LSI Denny JA survey was conducted on January 16-26 2024.
The sampling method was multi-stage random sampling, obtaining 1,200 respondents. The data collection technique is face-to-face interviews using a questionnaire. In this survey the margin of error is +-2.9%.
In this survey, a ballot paper simulation was carried out with three pairs of participants in the 2024 presidential election. The results were as follows:
Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka 50.7%
Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar 22%
Ganjar Pranowo- Mahfud Md 19.7%
Invalid votes 0.7%
BM/Secret/TT/TJ 6.9%
“Prabowo-Gibran’s electability has already reached its peak magic number for 1 round 50.7%,” said LSI Dennya JA researcher, Adjie Al Faraby.
Adjie explained that the trend of increasing Prabowo-Gibran’s electability is around 4-5% since November 2023. If this trend continues until February 14 2024, then the opportunity for one round is open.
“If the upward trend is consistent at only 4-5%, then we can predict safely and consistently, then the potential for one round is really wide open,” he added.
