Electronic skin will allow robots to feel like humans
Advances in the area of robotics do not stop. Scientists from the University of Edinburgh managed to develop a a kind of “electronic skin” that could lead the way for soft robotic devices that help in surgical procedures or in the mobility of people.
“The flexibility of the technology we have developed means that it could be applied to various soft robots for allow them to accurately perceive their own shape and movements“, they detail.

First RSV vaccine approved
After 60 years of scientific work, the world now has the first vaccine against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), after the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the Arexvy vaccine, the GSK.
The preparation is designed to given as a single dose to adults over 60 years of age.

Attention seniors! A new study from New York University has found that regular internet browsing may be key to reducing dementia risk.
With these results, the team is hopeful that future research can identify the relationship between the way a person uses the Internet and their cognitive health.

Ghosting and its negative effects on mental health
Disappearing as an entity and cutting off all communication without explanation can be disappointing and uncomfortable. But the mental health consequences are worse when the link is a friendship, according to researchers at the University of Vienna.
The researchers surveyed a total of 978 young adults, ages 16 to 21, about their experiences with romantic and friendly partners. Four months later, another survey was sent to measure changes in experiences of the participants over time.
