Xiaomi has a smartphone for young people, namely Redmi Note 10 5G and Redmi Note 10S. Check out the latest prices here.
Even though they are in the same class, these two smartphones have different target markets. In terms of design, both have the same design with a rectangular camera, a punch-hole screen, and a fingerprint reader mounted on the side.
Both are made of polycarbonate, the difference is that the Redmi Note 10S has an IP53 certification which makes it splash and dust resistant. For the screen, the Redmi Note 10S uses an AMOLED display with a peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits, a diagonal of 6.43 inches, and a Full HD + resolution.
Whereas Redmi Note 10 5G has a slightly wider screen with a diagonal of 6.5 inches with Full HD + resolution. The Redmi Note 10 5G offers a higher 90 Hz refresh rate, but has an IPS panel with less impressive colors.
Redmi Note 10S uses the Mediatek Helio G95 chipset which is built with an improved 7 nm production process to minimize energy consumption. While the Redmi Note 10 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 System-on-Chip with 7 nm fabrication.
For the camera, Redmi Note 10S. It has a better 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera for the depth sensor. While the Redmi Note 10 5G has a 48 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor camera.
The battery capacity for both is the same at 5,000 mAh. However the Redmi Note 10 5G should have a higher energy consumption due to its IPS screen, even though the processor is built with a better manufacturing process. The Redmi Note 10 5G also comes with fast charging technology.
Reported from the Xiaomi Official Store on Shopee, Redmi Note 10 5G priced at IDR 2,699,000 for 4GB/128GB RAM. For 8 GB / 128 GB RAM, the price is Rp. 2,999,000.
As for the Redmi Note 10S, it is priced at IDR 2,799,000, for 6GB/64GB RAM. Meanwhile, the RAM 8GB/128GB costs IDR 3,199,000.
