China has charged this Thursday against the World Health Organization (WHO), which they describe as “arrogant” for its request to carry out a second investigation on the origin of the virus that will include the study of laboratories and markets in the city from Wuhan. “We will not accept these plans that defy science and common sense. We hope that the WHO will abandon political interference, ”stressed Zeng Yixin, Vice Minister of the National Health Commission of China. On the other hand, concern about the expansion of the delta variant has led the United States to keep the border with Mexico closed at least until August 21. In Spain, the Ministry of Health notified 30,587 new infections and 18 deaths on Wednesday. The cumulative incidence stands at 644 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days. In people between 20 and 29 years old, the incidence reaches 1,866 cases.
