Yesterday came the grim news about Kristoffer Olsson being cared for on a ventilator.
But with darkness always comes a light.
FotbollDirekt.se has summarized Wednesday’s headlines from Denmark.
During Tuesday morning, the news hit like a bomb: Kristoffer Olsson is being treated on a ventilator with some type of serious brain disease.
The reactions were both numerous and strong on social media in the elongated country of Sweden.
A lot of emotional statements were also made to FotbollDirekt.se during yesterday.
– “Koffe’s” condition concerns me immensely. It hits me directly in the heart, said AIK’s CEO Fredrik Söderberg to FD.
*
– This is his most important match so far, all the best to Kristoffer and those closest to him, stated Håkan Ericson later to FD.
**
– We follow the situation hour by hour. So he just has to get healthy, there is nothing else, finally commented Olsson’s agent Per Jonsson to FD.

Of course, there has been a big focus in Denmark, where he lives and plays football.
FotbollDirekt has therefore collected today’s headlines from the neighboring country to the south during this Wednesday morning and afternoon.
It started with FC Midtjylland announcing early on that today’s training would be closed to outsiders.
“Everyone at FC Midtjylland is affected by Kristoffer’s situation, therefore today’s training is closed to the media and spectators,” the club signed X.
Whether this will continue going forward is unclear. But an important and tough league match awaits on Friday. FC Copenhagen is then on the schedule, at home at the HCM Arena.
Before it, a big tribute will be arranged for Kristoffer Olsson’s sake.
Last night FCM’s supporter group made a statement about this:
– In relation to tifo, something is going on. It’s starting with a tribute, “Black Wolves” chairman Lasse Dyrby told The tip sheet.
Apart from a tribute tifo, in the eighth minute (Olsson has number 8 on his back) support from the stands is shown through a standing ovation.
A nice gesture in every way.
FCK, for its part, has now responded in a solidarity way.
From the club’s side, all supporters are asked to make common cause with Midtjylland’s home supporters.
“Midtjylland fans will show their support for Kristoffer Olsson with a standing ovation in the eighth minute, and we call on our fans to respect this and support the tribute,” writes FC Copenhagen on its website and continues:
“Everyone at FC Copenhagen wishes Kristoffer a speedy recovery”.
Finally, journalists from Tipsbladet and several other media have shown a presence around FCK’s training at lunchtime.
There, head coach Jacob Neestrup spoke about how people in the big club have reacted to the news about Kristoffer Olsson.
– Everyone at FC Copenhagen obviously feels for Kristoffer and also with FC Midtjylland, who are in a difficult situation and have to take care of each other. We of course hope for the best, he says according to The tip sheet.
