Latest list of 50 richest people in Indonesia according to Forbes 2022

Forbes published the latest list of the 50 richest people in Indonesia 2022. In the list the names Hartono Brothers still perched in the number one position as super rich person in Indonesia.

Quoting Forbes, on Friday (9/12), Budi and Michael Hartono’s total wealth is recorded at US$47.7 billion or IDR 744.12 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of IDR 15,600 per US dollar).

These brothers’ coffers of wealth have soared, one of which is due to the IPO of Blibli’s parent company, Global Digital Niaga, which earned IDR 8 trillion last November.

Overall, Forbes noted that the total collective wealth of the 50 richest people in Indonesia was US$180 billion or 2.811 trillion rupees. The figure is up from $162 billion last year.
