- Flood levels are expected to peak tonight.
- All roads in western North Carolina are closed according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
- There is a 7:30 p.m. curfew in effect through Sunday in Asheville and Hendersonville
- There are two shelters open in Asheville at Harrah’s Cherokee Center and the WNC Ag Center
- More than 100,000 people are without power in Asheville. There is no estimate available on when it will return.
- Cell service outages are widespread. There is no estimate available on when it will return.
- The City of Asheville issued a system pressure and water boil advisory. Residents are advised to boil all water used for human consumption. There is also the possibility of a loss of water service, according to a statement from the City.
