Alleged Cause of Vanessa Angel’s Death
Reported detikcom, the police said they were still waiting for the autopsy results. However, according to the doctor, the police said that the cause of Vanessa Angel’s death was a blow to the head and chest.
“The results of the autopsy haven’t been released yet. At the time in the mortuary installation room, the doctor said that the suspected death was the same as the head wound on the chest. That’s all,” said the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko, quoted on Saturday (6 /11/2021).
“But if the details of the cause are not yet available, I will not speak,” continued Gatot.
The same thing is also suspected to be the cause of Bibi’s death. In addition, Bibi suffered serious injuries to her left hand as a result of the accident.
“Yes, according to the doctor, there was a collision on the head with the chest for the late Vanessa. Meanwhile for the late Febri there were injuries to the head and left hand,” said Gatot.
Vanessa Driver’s Urine Test Results
The police have also conducted a urine test on Vanessa Angel’s driver, Tubagus Joddy. He tested negative for drugs.
“For the driver of the deceased, the results that have been carried out are urine tests which are negative,” said Gatot.
Gatot said Joddy had started to get better. Investigators will begin asking for more information at the hospital.
“The plan from the investigators of the Jombang Satlantas Polres tonight will be interrogation of the driver after receiving instructions from the doctor. His condition is also improving. This means that in terms of trauma, it means that it is possible to ask for information,” said Gatot.
Car Speed Above 100 Km/Hr
Gatot also said that the severity of the impact on the separator was suspected because the car was traveling at high speed. From the preliminary results of the crime scene, said Gatot, the speed of the car at that time was above 100 km per hour.
“The assumption is that it is above 100 km per hour. That is, judging from the damage to the car, there were victims who were thrown, and the position of the car that turned upside down must have been more than 100 speeds,” explained Gatot.
However, Gatot said that there was no definite conclusion about the exact speed of the car just before the accident that killed Vanessa Angel and her husband. Police are still continuing their investigation.
“What is certain is above 100. But if it’s 120 or 130 km, we can’t confirm it. Because it’s still under investigation by Satlantas and Polda,” said Gatot.
