Explosions have erupted in Kiev, Telegram channel “Public” writes, RIA Novosti reported.
“Explosions can be heard in Kiev,” the publication writes.
Earlier, the edition “Zerkalo Nedeli” reported that explosions were also heard in Kropyvnytskyi (formerly Kirovograd).
According to the online map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, Kyiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Cherkasy Oblasts, as well as the Kyiv-controlled part of Kherson Oblast, are under an air strike alert.
The Russian military has regularly attacked Ukrainian defense industry, military command, communications and energy facilities since October 10 last year. As Vladimir Putin pointed out, this is a response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge and other attacks on civilian infrastructure in Russia. Since then, an air alert has been issued daily in Ukrainian regions, sometimes across the country.
