Latest Ebola outbreak in Congo over – World

The latest outbreak of the Ebola virus in Congo, in the northwest of the African country, is officially over. Health Minister Eeti Longondo said this on Wednesday.

The outbreak occurred in the northwestern Equatorial Province. Since the first infection was identified on June 1, 119 confirmed cases and 11 probable cases have been recorded and a total of 55 deaths have occurred, according to statistics from the World Health Organization (WHO).
