The NBA trade deadline has come and gone, and it was a busy one! Teams were wheeling and dealing, making moves to strengthen their rosters for the remainder of the season. Let’s take a look at some of the most notable trades that took place.
Warriors deal Joseph to Pacers
The Golden State Warriors made a move on deadline day, sending veteran guard Cory Joseph to the Indiana Pacers. However, it seems that Joseph’s time with the Pacers will be short-lived, as ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the team plans to waive him. In return, the Pacers receive Cory Joseph, a 2025 second-round pick, and cash considerations. The Warriors, on the other hand, acquire a 2024 second-round pick.
Celtics make pair of moves
The Boston Celtics were active on trade deadline day, making two separate deals. First, they acquired guard Jaden Springer from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for a second-round pick. Additionally, the Celtics traded forward Dalano Banton to the Portland Trail Blazers for a second-round pick.
Bucks trade Robin Lopez
The Milwaukee Bucks have decided to part ways with veteran big man Robin Lopez, sending him to the Sacramento Kings.
