Latest Coronavirus Figures in New York State

The average percentage of people who have tested positive for the coronavirus in the city continues to rise.

In recent days, recent measurements indicate that positive cases increased to 3 point 33 percent, according to city data. This compared to the 3 point 19 percent registered yesterday.

More than 1,500 new infections of covid-19 were confirmed this Thursday, and 114 people were hospitalized due to the virus.

On the other hand, recent figures related to the coronavirus in New York state speak of an infection rate of 3 point 18 percent.

In the areas with the highest number of cases, the index is 4.9%, and outside these areas it is 2.68%.

Both figures are down slightly from the day before.

More than 2,400 of the 217,000 tests performed were positive, and 67 New Yorkers died of complications from the coronavirus.

Governor Cuomo has said that the plan to prevent contagion, focused on regions divided into yellow, red and orange zones, will continue during the winter.

Each of them will have different restrictions.

The Governor assures that the changes to the plan will depend on the consequences that come after the trips and meetings during the Thanksgiving celebrations.
