‘Samsung will launch Galaxy S24 series on January 17’
In just over two months, Samsung’s new top devices will see the light of day. Insider Max Jambor, usually well aware of these types of plans, claims that the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S24 is scheduled for January 17. The event would take place in San José, near San Francisco.
As we are used to, the series consists of three devices. The regular S24 may have a slightly larger 6.2-inch screen. Moreover, the sides of the device are not curved, but flat. According to rumors, the beating heart of the device is an Exynos 2400 chip that Samsung makes itself.

MediaTek presents competitor for Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has just been presented and now manufacturer MediaTek has unveiled a direct competitor. This concerns the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip, the successor to the 9200. According to the manufacturer, the new processor is up to 33 percent more energy efficient than its predecessor, despite the fact that it does not have ‘efficient cores’, which we often see in other chips. .
The computing cores that are currently used do their work more efficiently than such cores, according to MediaTek, so that less power is used. In addition to being more energy efficient, the new chip is also a lot more powerful; up to 40 percent.

Poco C65 official: large screen for a bargain price
You may mainly know Poco from smartphones that are very fast, yet affordable. Consider, for example, the Poco F5 Pro. However, the young brand also makes very cheap phones for those who have fewer demands. The Poco C65, which has just been officially announced, falls into that category. You can get it for less than 150 euros.
The device has a gigantic 6.74-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 by 720 pixels. That is not too high, so text in particular can look a bit grainy. On the other hand, there is a refresh rate of 90Hz, which ensures that images are quite smooth.
