Only 800 participants (our estimate) came yesterday to the rally of lateral thinking911 in Nuremberg on the Volksfestplatz. The organizers fought for 3,500 allowed attendees in court. The speeches were accordingly pessimistic. The Nuremberg offshoot of lateral thinking now also no longer wants to display demonstrations, but rather work “differently”. According to Haintz, lateral thinking is already leading internal strategy discussions because the movement is currently no longer getting people onto the streets.
What was noticeable in the speeches overall: Neither lateral thinking founder Michael Ballweg nor lawyer Markus Haintz made special advertising in their speeches for the four-day event of the scene about Whitsun in Berlin, which was massively advertised in the messenger / social network Telegram. On the other hand, there was always talk of a respite and the focus on events in Berlin in August on the anniversaries of the two large demonstrations in 2020. A speaker from the Nuremberg organization team, who also claims to be a lawyer, complained that new concepts were needed because it has recently been less and less able to outsmart the police.
Virus Denial and Psychological Warfare
Despite the statement that lateral thinking does not deny Corona, but “only” criticizes the disproportionate measures of the government (Ballweg), the organizers again offered Stefan Lanka a stage. During his speech in Stuttgart he was in a central position Ryke Geerd Hamer and related to its new Germanic medicine. Lanka is considered a supporter of these theses. Lanka denies not only Sars-Cov-2, but also the measles and AIDS virus. He then received applause for saying that viruses were just an idea. After his performance, he lectured in a non-corona-compliant manner for some groups in the backstage area.
Markus Haintz used his speaking time to again delegitimize judgments of the judiciary if they did not turn out to his liking. The lateral thinker movement had “no bad lawyers”, but “bad judges and a bad judicial system”. The judiciary is just as criminal and corrupt as other parts of society. He only wants to conduct trials with the aim of collecting the names of people who would one day have to answer for “the injustice”. Here he was referring explicitly to Nuremberg as a place, probably with an allusion to the Nuremberg Trials. “Nuremberg 2.0 ″ is a popular catchphrase not only among the extreme right, but also with lateral thinking.
He found words of praise for the far right Constitutional lawyer Karl Albrecht Schachtschneider. The lawyer was, together with Götz Kubitschek, Jürgen Elsässer and others, co-founders of the new law, which has now been classified as a suspected case by the protection of the constitution NGO “One Percent”. Haintz heard lectures from him as part of his studies in Erlangen. Haintz officially spoke of psychological warfare against the state.
He also defended Haintz’s comparisons of today’s times with National Socialism, which are part of the basic narrative of lateral thinking, through which the violence and arbitrary rule including the Holocaust are massively trivialized. Two participants wore signs with the words “Vaccination makes you free” and “Testing makes you free”, probably in allusion to the cynical slogan “Work makes you free” at the entrance gates of various concentration camps.
The police and not the stewards had to ensure compliance with the mask requirement
The requirement for the event to wear a face-to-face mask was only complied with in places. As far as observed, the control was the sole responsibility of the police, even stewards had to be reminded of the requirements by the emergency services. Participants with wide-meshed fake masks (SolidFacts) were seen again and again. The police estimated the number of participants at 1200. The announced lateral thinking activist Samuel Eckert was not there. The suspended police officer Bernd Bayernlein and the media activist Elijah Tabere spoke.
