Al-Marsad Newspaper: The son of the late merchant, Suleiman Al-Ali Al-Ghaslan, narrated the story of his father’s waiver of financial demands for him from people at a value of 40 million riyals, and he burned the papers proving them a year before his death in Hail.
He said during an interview with Al-Arabiya TV: “My father, may God have mercy on him, made a great fortune, and he used to work in real estate, buying and selling, and installments, and he was facilitating a lot for people, and he advised us to do so.” Pointing out that the earliest debt history is within 10 years, and debt dates are 40 years.
He continued, “A year before my father’s death, he informed us that he intends to forgive all debtors, bringing the total amount to 40 million riyals.”
