In the first home game of the season, newly promoted FC Blau Weiß Linz saved a point in a duel with TSV Hartberg with late goals from Ronivaldo (84′) and Gölles (86′).
The game began with a lightning start for the promoted team. Referee Weinberger pointed to the spot after Ousmane Diakite fouled Simon Pirkl (2′). Koch converted the penalty kick to give Linzer a 1-0 lead (4th).
The early deficit didn’t have much of an effect on the guests from Styria. They took command of the square. However, it was not until the 30th minute that Entrup redeemed Hartberg coach Schopp. Hartberger overcame Schmid with a powerful shot.

But the Styrians hadn’t counted on the persistence of the promoted team. Two late goals from Ronivaldo (84′) and Gölles (86′) saved Linz’s deserved draw.
Next weekend, Blau-Weiß-Linz will meet LASK away from home in the Linz derby: Hartberger will have to play at Rapid in Wien Hütteldorf.
