A late Darwin Nunez brace gave the ten-man Liverpool an unlikely 2-1 win over Newcastle at St James’ Park.

But the visitors showed plenty of courage at St James’ Park before Nunez’s effort from a tight angle equalized in the 81st minute.
And they were rewarded for their determination in stoppage time when Nunez scored the winner and sent the Reds fans who had traveled insane.
Earlier, Anthony Gordon, ex-Liverpool academy player, had taken the lead when he capitalized on a mistake by Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Virgil van Dijk was then sent off for attacking Magpies forward Alexander Isak.
