Each fall is the flowering season of the Taiwan luan tree. There are 400 meters of Taiwan luan trees planted on both sides of Lianwai Road-Bazhang Street, Jiji Town, Nantou. Also, on the campus of Jinan University in Puli Town, hundreds of Luan trees bloomed simultaneously, forming a colorful and beautiful “Luan Tree Avenue”.
Walking on Jiji’s Bazhang Street, luan trees on both sides of the road, red, yellow and green colors, intertwine in beautiful scenery, full of autumn romance. City Hall said there are about 400 meters of luan trees planted on both sides of Bazhang Street. They have entered the flowering phase. Not only are golden flowers blooming, but some of them have already produced pink pods. The yellow flowers are swaying in the wind and scattered like golden rain.
Jiji Mayor Chen Jiheng said: “It is now the end of September and the beginning of October, when both yellow and pink appear on the trees, so our whole Luanshu Avenue in Taiwan will be very colorful.”
