LATAM Cargo enables online reservations through WebCargoIn the last three years, air cargo has undergone a digital revolution, driving more reliable, accurate and accessible supply chains.

This is particularly important in South America, which exports approximately $1 billion worth of goods a year.

Digital Air Cargo is expanding to South America with LATAM Cargo offering real-time pricing and booking through WebCargo, a leading global cargo booking platform. LATAM Cargo, which offers services to more than 135 destinations in more than 20 countries, is the first South American airline to operate on WebCargo.

Real-time bookings with LATAM Cargo are now available to WebCargo customers on 27 routes with the possibility of connection in South America. As Carlos Cheeseman, owner of Airgroup Miami, put it, “Having LATAM on WebCargo and 7LFreight for real-time booking is an excellent addition to facilitate our shipments to Latin and South America.“.

The industry is shifting towards digital collaboration and as a leading operator in South America we want to provide customers with reliable and efficient solutions and a wide set of options that allow them to choose what works best for them. As part of our digitization roadmap, we decided to partner with WebCargo by Freightos to give new customers access to our capacity. This collaboration is an important milestone in LATAM Cargo’s digital roadmap”, said Jorge Galvez, SVP of marketing and development of LATAM Cargo.

Global trade moves faster than ever”, said Manuel Galindo, CEO of WebCargo by Freightos. “With innovative partners like LATAM Cargo, carriers can move at the same pace, improving efficiency by more than 100,000 quarterly bookings”.
