According to the Speaker of the House, Hungary sees Slovenia not only as a good neighbor, a friend, an equal player in bilateral relations, but in the Central European context as a member of a community that has contributed to the strengthening of the region in terms of its ability to combine interests in the European Union.
In the area of economic cooperation, he highlighted the recent handover of the Pince-Cirkovce cross-border transmission line, which, according to the Speaker, symbolizes that we must also work together to create infrastructural connections in the region.
Regarding the war in Ukraine, he said: although Hungary is closer to the war conflict than Slovenia, Ljubljana feels and understands precisely the dangerous impact of this situation on the region.
Urska Klakocar Zupancic believed that the cooperation between the two countries is exemplary, and that progress will also be made in the economic field in the future.
I was pleased to hear from the Hungarian speaker that Slovenian companies and investments are warmly welcomed to the Rába region.
