Laszlo Dioszegi said for ProSport that he was more concerned with his bread factory, as he had been neglecting his business lately because of football.
Laszlo Dioszegi temporarily retires from football and leaves Sepsi for another business
Laszlo Dioszegi has one of the best bread factories in Romania. Its employees have won many awards for the quality of the products offered. But, the patron saint of Sepsis has very big plans and wants to strengthen the brand it owns in the bakery field.
Dioszegi revealed for ProSport that in the next period, at least during the championship break, he will try to detach from football and mind his business more. “To be honest, I don’t even know much about the club anymore. Now Liviu Ciobotariu has also arrived, but Atti (nr. Hadnagy) is also there and the two of them will take care even more like me for a while of the smooth running of things in the team.
Okay, I’m not going to leave the team and football, but in the last few days I’ve been busy and I’ll be busy even more with my business with the bread factory. We’ve kind of neglected it lately, and I want us to be a force in this area as well. I know we are appreciated with our products, but I want us to be the best”, Dioszegis said.
Dioszegi entered the bakery business in 1996
The Dioszegi family entered that field in 1996, and Laszlo Dioszegi spoke three years ago to ziare.com about his bakery business.
„My parents started the business in 1996, and in 2002 they transferred everything to me. I had to deal with this entirely. Even though I finished the Faculty of Mathematics – Physics, I still found myself in the bakery. At night I made bread, in the morning I was a driver, I went to deliver the bread made and in the afternoon I take care of the company’s accounting documents. It was a beautiful period, I took care of everything, until I managed to bring more people. Since 1997, I started working in the bakery. And I got the bug, I know how to make real bread.
In 2008, I tried all kinds of recipes. We would go to the neighboring villages and ask the old women how they make bread, how they learned it from their grandparents. It worked well for me, I also got inspiration from there. All year I put my mind to the contribution and in December 2008 I came up with a very good recipe related to potato bread. I started to stop putting yeast. The flour must be the same, the temperature the same, the oven the same. There are little secrets that help make a very good bread.
I thought I would give it a shot. And I was not wrong. That bread has won numerous awards in baking competitions. I don’t mind and I will never give up the bakery. All my life I will be a baker. Many people would do well not to forget where they came from. To me there is no shame in working with both hands, even in the bakery. Even if people shout at me in the stadium something related to the bakery, it doesn’t bother me at all”concluded Laszlo Dioszegi.
