The company’s turnover in 2014 was 28.08 million euros. But the company’s profit has grown by 33% – from 632,770 euros in 2014 to 841,966 euros in 2015.
According to the management report, the company managed to increase its turnover last year due to the growth of suppliers and customers, as well as the expansion of the range of products offered.
Finished products “Elpis” receive directly from producers in Germany, Bulgaria, Poland, Denmark, CIS countries. The company has been exporting a wide range of medicines to countries such as Lithuania, Estonia, Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine and Russia for a long time.
The company buys food and pharmaceutical raw materials from several countries – China, India, Vietnam, Egypt, France, Germany, Poland and others.
In the future, the company plans to further develop and expand its operations, strengthening its position as one of the largest traders of food and pharmaceutical raw materials in the Baltics, the management report noted.
SIA “Elpis” was founded in 1994. The share capital of the company is 213,428 euros. The owners of “Elpis” are Jānis Leitāns – 90.27%, Eduards Leitāns – 3.25%, Juris Leitāns – 3.25% and Igors Gockis – 3.24%.
