Last tribute to Arno at Old Belgium: dozens of fans present

Several dozen fans of singer Arno, who died on April 23 at the age of 72, gathered on Wednesday in front of the Old Belgium. They can pay their last respects in the AB lobby between 10 a.m. and 1.30 p.m.

A large canvas with a photo of the singer and the inscription “Thank you godverdomme” was hung above the entrance to the room. In the lobby, a condolence book has been installed to allow fans to leave a personal message. His urn, surrounded by two photos, was also installed at the entrance.

“He deserves to be honored. He was a normal and spontaneous person. He was our neighbor and we often met him in the Sainte-Catherine district”testifies a fan, Milo Schots. “Her look, her figure will be missed.”

The legendary Brussels room, which was Arno’s “second living room”, had already opened a register of condolences
