The general director of the State Land Entity has transmitted to Vélez his commitment to streamline the legal-administrative procedures that allow the Board of Directors to authorize the operation at its next meeting, scheduled for the end of September, according to sources from the Delegation in a statement.
“I want to publicly thank MITMA and the Government of Spain for their commitment to the Murcia Region by firmly betting on the development of the Cartagena ZAL”, according to Vélez, who has acknowledged that “the procedures have not been easy, as there have been to face the repeated breaches of the regional government of the commitments acquired for the development of the ZAL “.
“Fortunately, the Government of Spain responds with facts to its commitments and responsibilities and it only remains to demand from the Autonomous Community a minimum of institutional loyalty and to complete the procedures for the approval of the urban figure ‘Regional Interest Act (AIR)’, currently in process, and detail what will be its management procedure, “said Vélez at the end of the meeting.
