In the past week, 4,036 new people were reported nationally who tested positive for the virus. That is 1,448 more than the number of reports last week. In addition, 38 patients had to be hospitalized.
Nine laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 patients have been reported as dead nationally. That is three more than in the previous week.
Because it is plausible that not all people who have the corona virus among their members have themselves tested, the actual numbers in the Netherlands are probably higher than the figures published by the RIVM.
