It was stated that a year lasts only 16 hours on a new planet that the American National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) discovered thousands of light-years from Earth.
Astronomers announced the planet, named TOI-2109b, as the second hottest planet ever detected.
The newly announced exoplanet (outside the Solar System) belongs to a category scientists refer to as “hot Jupiters.” While astronomers have detected more than 400 hot Jupiters to date, the researchers say none are like TOI-2109b.
