CLAIM THAT FATHER RESISTED

According to the news in DHA, Özkan U., who was caught fleeing to Bitlis, and his brother SU, who allegedly helped the murder, were arrested at the courthouse where they were transferred. Father PU, who was taken into custody with the allegation that he instigated his son to murder, was released pending trial.

In the indictment of the case opened at the end of the investigation carried out by the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, it was stated that PU called Nazlı U., who learned that he was in Devrek a while before the date of the incident, with his sons, and when he could not reach, he went to the police and filed a disappearance application. It was stated that after returning to Bitlis, the father sent his sons to Devrek, supporting his thoughts of killing their mother.

“I regret, I take refuge in your AFF.”

SU and father PU, who were released pending trial with detained defendant Özkan U., attended the trial held yesterday at the Zonguldak 1st High Criminal Court through SEGBİS.

Özkan U., who told that they found the house where his mother lived by following MS, which he saw by chance while wandering around Devrek with his brother in previous hearings, said in his last defense, “We definitely did not go to kill. To convince, I brought him to my brother because he loved my brother. To take him home.” I went. When I saw him in that state, when he talked about it, I brought madness and committed the murder. I regret this very much, I seek your forgiveness, “he said. PU and SU, the defendants without arrest, also demanded their acquittal.

21 YEARS PENALTY FROM HEAVY EMPLOYMENT Prisoner

The court board sentenced detained defendant Özkan U. to aggravated life imprisonment for ‘deliberate killing against upper ancestry’. The punishment given to the accused was reduced to 21 years with heavy provocation discount, taking into account witness statements that Nazlı U., who was killed, lived with MS, although he was married, instead of a shelter. PU and SU were acquitted on the grounds that no evidence could be found.
