According to the information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), a 5.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded at 20.43 hours, the epicenter of which is the Marmaris district of Muğla.
It was determined that the earthquake felt in İzmir and Antalya as well as Muğla was 61.41 kilometers deep.
Marmaris District Governor Ertuğ Şevket Aksoy told AA correspondent, “There is no negative situation regarding the earthquake that has reached us at the moment.” said.
Aksoy moved to the Osmaniye Neighborhood, which is located close to the epicenter of the earthquake and between Marmaris and Datça.
The District Governor of Datça, Mesut Çoban, also stated that there were no negative problems in their districts regarding ground shaking.
