The Ministry of Health has registered this Friday, with data provided by the autonomous communities, 22,400 new cases of coronavirus, which brings the total number of people infected with Covid-19 to 11,100,428 since the start of the pandemic.
Regarding the current average incidence of infections in Spain in the last 14 days, the report shows that it continues to decline, standing at 463.15 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, compared to the 472.15 reported on Thursday by the department led by Caroline Darias.
As for those who died from Covid-19, 174 more have been reported, of which 308 have been registered in the last week. This makes the global death toll from coronavirus in Spain rise to 100,413 people.
There are currently 5,693 patients admitted for Covid-19 throughout Spain and 851 in an ICU, although in the last 24 hours there have been 510 admissions and 751 discharges. The occupancy rate of beds occupied by coronavirus stands at 4.59 percent and in ICUs at 9.31 percent.
