On the 33th kilometer of the Van-Bahçesaray highway, a van came to an avalanche with a van. A large number of AFAD, UMKE, 112 Emergency Service, Highways and gendarmerie teams were sent to the region following the avalanche notice.

Commenting on the incident, Van Governor Mehmet Emin Bilmez used the following statements:
* The search for the minibus continues. It dragged down as a result of avalanche falling.

* The operator was hospitalized. No serious injury. He was taken to Çatak State Hospital. Rescue efforts continue. Teams with dogs set out.
* It is estimated that there are 10-15 people in the minibus belonging to Altıntaş District of Bahçesaray district.
Expressing that the phones did not pick up, Governor Bilmez said, “I hope we will save our citizens safe and sound”. The governor added that the van works between Van center and Bahçesaray district. IHA
