Astronomers have detected light behind a black hole in deep space for the first time, thus proving the famous physicist Albert Einstein’s theory of general relativity for the first time in over a hundred years.
Stanford University scientists used high-power X-ray telescopes to study a supermassive black hole 800 million light-years away at the center of a distant galaxy.

“Scientists analyzed the X-ray echoes of the black hole surrounding Earth. This occurred as a result of the object’s intense gravity distorting space and returning light back into view,” the study, published in the scientific journal Nature, said.
With his general theory of relativity, which Einstein proposed in 1915, gravity was caused by the warping of space-time. Masses in space, space-time around tissueit bent the offering, creating a crooked environment.

Wilkins, a research scientist at the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology at Stanford University, said: “No light that goes into this black hole gets out, so we shouldn’t be able to see anything behind the black hole. The reason we can see it is because that black hole bends space, bends light. and bending the magnetic fields around itself,” he said.
