One of the victims who died in the plane crash in Malaysia had left a last message to his best friend. He wants his best friend to take care of his family.
It was Sharipuddin Shaari, the victim of a private jet crash in Elmina City, who delivered an important message before his death. The Beechcarft Model 390 jet crashed on Thursday (17/8) and killed 10 people.
Before the fatal incident happened, Sharipuddin had a long conversation with his friend, Megat Hashirat Hassan. The conversation took place 3 days before the incident.
Megat Hashirat, who is also a member of the Pauh State House of Representatives, said that during that time many things were discussed, including family matters and others.
He also said that Sharipuddin was one of his strong supporters who helped him a lot during the campaign when he was a candidate in the general elections.
“At that time [dia memberikan] the names of those who want to be circumcised in my district in Pauh, Perlis on September 27,” said Megat when met at Tuanku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital’s Forensic Medicine Department (HTAR), reported from My Metro.
“He even asked me to look after his family [di Perlis] since he was here [Selangor],” he continued.
Megat also said that their conversation at that time was strange. The reason is, he and Sharipuddin have not talked for a long time.
Megat also said that the state government offered its condolences to the Sharipuddin family and was ready to provide any assistance needed to the family.
“On behalf of the Perlis State Government, I extend my condolences to the family members of all the victims involved in this accident,” he said.
Apart from Sharipuddin, seven other people who were on the plane also died. Not only them, a car driver and a motorcyclist on the street where the incident took place also died.
All victims were rushed to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah hospital for the identification process.
Meanwhile, Malaysia’s Ministry of Transport said authorities were investigating the cause of the plane crash. They also called for all Beechcraft Model 390 jets to be investigated.
