Relatives, colleagues and friends will say goodbye today at 13:30 at the Zografou cemetery to Dino Karydis, who died on Sunday 15/9 at the age of 85.
His daughter Smaragda Karydis, a day or so after the announcement of his death, published a photo of her father on Instagram, holding and kissing her when she was a child.
Who was Dinos Karydis?
Dinos (Konstantinos) Karydis was born in Athens on October 27, 1938. He was a Greek television, film and theater actor.
He was the father of the well-known actress Smaragda Karydis and the husband of also actress Julias Argyropoulos.
He was born and raised in Athens. Having graduated from the Dramatic School of Athens, he soon began his career in the theater. Subsequently, he participated in many film productions, as well as television programs.
He had played, among others, alongside the late Aliki Vougiouklakis in the classic film “Alice in the Navy”, “My daughter the socialist”, in “Lieutenant Natassa” etc.
