Yutz plage is the flagship activity of the summer. Relaunched last year after a long break and a year 2020 marked by restrictions linked to the Covid-19 epidemic, this project has, it seems, reached cruising speed. Carried by a sunny weather, temperatures a little high at midday it is true, Yutz Plage offers every week a program of new activities completely free and accessible to the greatest number. From initiation to triathlon in the first fortnight with swimming pool access for 6 to 18 year olds, skate and graffiti workshops from July 30 to August 14, and as a common thread, an introduction to circus arts which will also give rise to a show this Sunday. The banks of the Moselle have also been transformed into open-air cinemas.
Since July 17 and until Sunday August 14, Yutz Plage has become the favorite vacation spot for Yussoise families, but not only. “We welcomed people from Thionville and surrounding towns. Our offer is not in competition with Rive en fête, it is complementary,” assures the deputy mayor of Yutz.
