Original post (July 11): Die VIP days in the LEGO online shop have started and as expected there are three free gifts. Furthermore, there are double VIP points on selected theme worlds and in the Sale category in the LEGO online shop are over 40 new sets with up to 30% discount (in one case even 40% Discount) listed.
LEGO is trying to counteract the LEGO offers on Amazon Prime Day, just as other retailers are using Amazon’s shopping event to start their own promotional events. Analogous to Prime at Amazon, VIP membership is of course necessary for LEGO to take advantage of the offers, only that these permanently free is.
Update (2:03 am): Our exclusive, additional free gift in the form of the LEGO 40586 Moving Truck is now out of stock. Unfortunately, the voucher codes that you may have in stock will also lose their validity. Important: If the GWP is not displayed in the shopping cart, it will not be included in your order either!
