The Marshall Islands Soccer Federation was established on December 31, 2020. That announcement was made without the national football team. The following year, Lloyd Owers, a British man with a UEFA license, was appointed as the federation’s technical director. This year he started trying for the national football team. Lloyd pioneered the country’s football ‘evolution’ by designing eco-friendly jerseys. Recruitment was then conducted for men and women who were interested in joining the national team.
