Last Corona bills due! – Antenne Sachsen

Hardly anyone likes to think back to the pandemic years 2020 to 2022. Schools closed, sales plummeted, vaccination discussions…

But if you are an entrepreneur who applied for Corona aid at the time, you should mark September 30th in your calendar. This is because that is the last deadline for settling the bridging, November or December aid. With the help of a financial expert (e.g. tax advisor), the actual loss of sales must then be offset against the estimated loss at the time.

According to the Federal Ministry of Economics, 400,000 final invoices for Corona aid are still outstanding across Germany.

Because of the unbureaucratic allocation of aid, only an estimated value was originally sufficient in the application. However, this is now being checked by 21 approval offices. If you have received more aid than the losses, the Corona aid must be paid back proportionately.

However, if you do not adhere to the deadline, you risk having to repay all the aid you have received.

According to the Saxon Development Bank, 2.1 billion euros were paid in the Free State in bridging, November and December aid. In addition, 673 million euros were paid in emergency aid grants for self-employed individuals and micro-enterprises. The Free State of Saxony also granted 752 million euros in subsidized loans to affected companies.
